Optimax launches eye-themed road safety campaign

Eye-care company Optimax organized its first ever road safety campaign, Healthy Eyes on the Road, aimed to raise awareness on the need of having healthy vision whilst traveling on the road. It was launched in conjunction with the upcoming festive period, when roads are expected to be at their most congested.

The campaign attracted the support of Alcon, Allergen, and a number of biker’s clubs such as the Vrus MC Biker Club, Bikerz United, and RD Club Malaysia. At the event venue, Bangunan AHP, Optimax conducted free eye screenings, consultations, talks on eye care, as well as fun and games.

The event also marked the launch of Optimax’s Eye Care Hour programme allowing members of the public to receive preliminary eye screenings and consultations between 12.30am-1.30pm at any Optimax branch nationwide. The programme will take place from now until 18 August 2012 in line with the festive season.
