Ducati Diavel CKD arrives from Thailand

Ducati Malaysia has just launched CKD versions of the Diavel that is assembled in Thailand for export to Asia Pacific countries. Customers can choose between the standard model, or the higher-specced Diavel Carbon. The two versions are priced at RM109,888 and RM126,888 respectively.

Named after the Bolognese dialect word for devil, the Diavel made its global debut in 2010 is actually available in four different versions worldwide. In addition to the two models mentioned above, the Diavel range also consists of the Diavel Cromo and Diavel AMG Special Edition, the latter model launched in Malaysia earlier this year.

Sitting between the rider’s legs is Ducati’s Testastretta 11° engine of the 1198 providing 162hp and 127.5Nm to the rear wheel. The engine conforms to Euro 3 emission standards, and maintenance intervals are a pleasantly lengthy 24,000km per service.

Also introduced in conjunction with the CKD Diavel launch is the availability of Monster Art customization to customers of the Ducati Monster 795. Under the package, five new colour schemes are available for buyers to choose from, namely GP11 – Valentino Rossi, GP11 – Nicky Hayden, Ducati Corse, Imola 72, and Darmah.

The new Monster 795 with the Monster Art is priced at RM61,900.00 while the full specification version priced at RM65,900.00 that comes with Monster Art and Termignoni Exhaust system. The above mentioned pricing is available only for a limited time.
