BMW Group Malaysia honours top dealers of 2011
BMW Group Malaysia recently celebrated the conclusion of its 2011 financial year with the BMW Dealer Awards Night. The gala evening served to honour the efforts of BMW’s dealership network, specifically top-performing dealers and individuals for their contribution in helping BMW Group surpass its targets for 2011 for all of its Malaysian business units – BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad.
Speaking at the awards presentation, Geoffrey Briscoe, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia said, “2011 was another great year for us at BMW Group Malaysia. We were able to reflect on yet another record breaking year of growth where we delivered a total of 5,604 BMW, MINI and Motorrad vehicles. This record figure surpasses our performance in 2010 by 24%.”
Briscoe added that the successful year of 2011 was achieved owing to a great partnership and strong dealership network in the country. He said, “This success can certainly be attributed to our respected partners throughout our 15-strong 4S dealership network which plays a great importance in ensuring the record year was achieved. We at the BMW Group believe that the formation of a good dealership is crucial in communicating the premium expression of the BMW Brand to our customers here in the country. All our BMW dealerships across Malaysia are successful ventures and have been charting progressive business growth year on year which makes this awards ceremony all the more special!”
