Michelin ‘Fill up with Air’ campaign to conclude at Puchong and Plentong this weekend

Michelin Malaysia’s three-week long ‘Fill up with Air’ campaign will go into its final weekend this coming 18 and 19 June at the parking lots of Tesco Plentong, Johor Bahru and Tesco Puchong. In previous weeks, the roadshow has already stopped by Malacca, Manjung, Gambang and Temerloh, attracting the participation of some 1,400 motorists.

The objective of this initiative by Michelin is to educate Malaysian drivers on the importance of maintaining their tyres to the correct pressure. An improperly inflated tyre is detrimental to the vehicle’s safety, fuel economy and tyre wear, leading to increased costs in the long run.

At the roadshow, motorists stand a chance to win an exclusive and priceless opportunity to participate in the Michelin Pilot Experience program, where they will have to opportunity to drive a Formula 3 car and other super cars at the Sepang F1 circuit simply by having their tyre pressures checked. Specially setup Michelin FUWA marquees are setup at the event venue for the purpose.

Also joining the fun will be RTM’s radio station Traxx FM, serving as official media partner for the campaign. Hundreds of Michelin collectibles are being offered to the station’s lucky callers to promote the campaign. The first 50 Michelin Malaysia Facebook fans to present coupons available on the Facebook site when they visit any of the FUWA venues will also receive an exclusive Michelin umbrella.
