Malaysian wins regional title in Volkswagen Service Qualification World Championship
The final of this year’s Volkswagen Service Qualification World Championship was held just last weekend at Wolfsburg, which saw 140 finalists from 70 countries gather to compete against each other to be named as the best Volkswagen service advisors and technicians.
The ultimate aim of this programme is to enhance service quality provided by Volkswagen technicians, leading to increased customer satisfaction. At the various national preliminary rounds of the competition, feedback was taken to verify the competencies of VW’s service personnel in various countries, and also to allow fine-tuning of country-specific training of personnel.
Starting last year, regional winners are honored in addition to the world championship titles, and Malaysian service advisor Mr Alan Chin Khon Loon of FA Wagen Sdn Bhd was ranked top among Asia Pacific Service Advisors.
