New Perodua Myvi starts order taking on 4 June
Perodua has just sent out a media announcement stating the new Myvi will be available for booking at any of the company’s 178 sales outlets nationwide from 4 June onwards. Official launch is slated at 16 June 2011, after which the car will be available for viewing and test drive at all sales outlets.
With the outgoing Myvi being such a runaway success, anticipation levels for its replacement model is naturally high, and according to Perodua Managing Director Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh, “Perodua is very encouraged by the initial responses from the public for the new Myvi. For months, our sales outlets have been receiving lots of enquiries pertaining to the new model.”
The new Myvi will hit the market with six 1.3-litre variants available in both manual and automatic transmissions. Perodua expects to sell an estimated 8,500 units monthly. Booking fee for the new model is RM400, and prices will be revealed during launch time.
On launch day, a number of Perodua sales outlets will remain open until late at night in anticipation of good public response.
