Goodyear and AAM launches ‘Women with Drive’ programme
Goodyear and the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) today launched a co-organized women-centric service workshop series called ‘Women with Drive’. Tailored and targeted to a female audience, the free service workshops will be conducted by Goodyear Autocare experts to educate female motorists on vehicle maintenance and road safety.
The programme has already been launched in a number of countries, namely Australia, China, Indonesia, India and The Philippines. It is the first such programme to be held in Malaysia. Activities will commence in May with the first ‘Survival Training’ course, and pre-empted by a series of articles on the topic of car and road safety.
To be held every three months, the free training course will be held at a selected Goodyear Autocare outlet where trained Autocare experts will cover topics of basic maintenance in key areas such as engine oil, brake fluids, battery fluids, and tyres among others. The participants then adjourn to another training session that covers on road safety and driving tips conducted by Road Safety experts.

Meanwhile, AAM has also launched the Elite Femme Card exclusively for lady drivers of all ages. In addition to privileges offered in a standard AAM membership, the Elite Femme Card offers additional tailored-for-women benefits such as hotel accommodation during breakdowns & accidents, Free Minor on-the-spot repair service within Free Breakdown Zone, Snatch-Theft Coverage, Accident Care Programme and others. Membership charges are RM25 registration and RM100 annual fee.
