Continental sets up tyre pit stops at highway R&Rs
It’s that time of the year again – the festive period, the time when the road safety authorities come out to remind you amongst other things, to have your car checked before you embark on the long journey home to meet dad and mum. We always agree that having your car inspected periodically, especially on the eve of a lengthy trip is a good idea.
However, those of us urbanites also have the unfortunate habit of hiding behind excuses such as busy schedules (the “No time lah,” moments come to mind), and leave the maintenance and well-being of cars completely neglected. Well, if you really can’t have you car checked before your trip, Continental is now offering to have it checked for you during your trip.
Aimed primarily at folks departing from the Klang Valley, Continental Sime Tyre (CST) has begun a five-day campaign starting from today to 1 February to educate road users on the importance of tyre safety. At three separate locations along our highways, CST has set up facilities to perform tyre inspection and changing for motorists in need.
The three selected locations are Gunung Semanggol Rest Area (North-bound), Seremban Rest Area (South-bound), and Temerloh Rest Area (East Bound). Motorists in need can stop by any of these locations to perform checks on their tyres and have the tyres changed on the spot if so needed. Alignment not included though.
