Modenas launches new version of GT128
Modenas has unveiled an updated version of its GT128 motorcycle with cosmetic upgrades in the form of fancy new decals and three new colours. The new variant was introduced last week in conjunction with the flagging off of ‘GT128 Monsoon Ride 2010′ convoy at Wisma DRB-Hicom.
Powering the GT128 is an air-cooled 130cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine, equipped with a Keihin NCV24 carburetor. It produces 9.6hp @ 7,500rpm and 10.7Nm @ 5,500rpm, which goes to the rear wheel via a 4-speed rotary gear transmission with multiple wet clutches.
Suspension is provided by a telescopic fork up front and a pair of Kayaba absorbers behind. Disc brakes are standard for the front and rear wheels. Colour schemes on offer for the GT128 mates a black colour base with either orange, blue or red decals.
The new Modenas GT128 is offered at its original price of RM5,168.
