Perodua launches Viva Elite Exclusive Edition
Buyers of the Perodua Viva now have a new variant to consider as Perodua has just launched the Viva Elite Exclusive Edition, which comes with the option of a new exclusive colour along with some minor cosmetic enhancements.
Available only in automatic transmission, the Viva Elite Exclusive Edition is priced at RM42,000 on-the-road including insurance for buyers in Peninsula Malaysia. In the Viva Elite line-up, the Exclusive Edition sits between the RM40,900 Viva Elite A/T and the RM44,900 Viva Elite EZi A/T.
In addition to the existing midnight blue and ivory white colours, the Exclusive Edition is also offered with the exclusive colour of classy purple. Distinguishing features on the Viva Elite Exclusive Edition include a darker colour shade on its alloy rims, leather trim, metallic dash trim, new meter cluster and sprinklings of ‘Exclusive Edition’ marks all over the car inside out.
“We aim to sell 600 units of the Viva Elite Exclusive Edition a month and will complement the range of Viva variants currently under our line up,” said Perodua Managing Director Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh, who simultaneously launched the car and a new service centre in Puchong yesterday.
“A total of 240,000 Viva units have been sold since it was first launched in 2007 and the Viva Elite is the best selling variant from the model line up, consisting of 41.4% or 24,000 units from a total of 58,000 units of the Viva sold in the first 10 months of the year. That is an average of 2,400 Viva Elite units per month this year,” he added.
The new service centre launched alongside the Viva Elite Exclusive Edition is actually one that was relocated from an older location. It is now reunited with the sales branch which vacated the same older premises three years ago, making it a complete 3S centre once again. Built at a cost of RM800,000, the new service centre was open since 1 October, and has a total of 16 service bays, 14 with hoists.
