KLIMS ’10 launches A&P campaign
The organizers of the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010 (KLIMS ’10), namely the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) and Interexpo (M) Sdn Bhd, today officially launched the show’s Advertising & Promotion (A&P) campaign to drum up publicity for the upcoming show.
As before, the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) will be the event venue from 3 to 12 December. In addition to the anticipated display cars, visitors to KLIMS ’10 will get to see car accessories, and walk home with various goodies and giveaways. The organizers are targeting a crowd of 330,000 visitors for this year’s edition.
Visitors stand a chance to win a hybrid car, the Toyota Prius, while Proton Sagas and NAZA Bikes are big ticket items to be won by merely purchasing an entry ticket, a special self-drive & ride holiday package was also offered by Chevrolet Captiva and Harley-Davidson.
“Besides showcasing the latest automotive brands and innovations that can be found in the market today, we hope to also bring forth the automotive industry’s initiatives in contributing to the well-being of mankind, which is why our green theme this time is called WE CARE,” said Datuk Aishah Ahmad, Chairman of KLIMS’10 Organising Committee and President of MAA.
A number of selected publications were named as official media of KLIMS ’10. The Star, Nanyang Siang Pau and Utusan Malaysia are the Official Newspapers, while Motor Trader, Traction, and Gila Kereta are Official Magazines. Meanwhile, Motorsportchannel.com is the sole Online Motorsport Media. Official Radio Stations meanwhile, are RFM988, RED104.9 and Suria FM.
