And, of course, Autoworld will be there too, for the next three days, with me and Eu Jin at the press box attempting to bring you the latest updates and pictures.
For tomorrow (29 May 2009), the participants of the Asian Touring Car Series, Formula V6 Asia, GT3 Asia Challenge, and Formula BMW Pacific take on the track for their Free Practice Sessions. Qualifying sessions of the various series take place on Saturday (30 May 2009) morning. The racing agenda starts on the same day with Round 3 of Formula BMW Pacific kicking things off at 12:15pm.
After adjourning for lunch, the action will resume in the afternoon with the Asian Touring Car Series, Formula V6 Asia, and GT3 Asia Challenge each taking to the track one after the other. The action of the day then concludes with another 10 laps of the Formula BMW Pacific cars on the circuit again.
Sunday starts with quick warm-up sessions for the various categories, before the Asian Touring Cars get things going at 11:00am. The GT3 race scheduled at 2:15pm is sandwiched by two Formula BMW Pacific races before the Formula V6 Asia Grand Race wraps up the action for the weekend.
If you can’t make it to Sepang this weekend, worry not. The latest updates for the Malaysian leg of the 2009 Asian Festival of Speed can be found here. Stay tuned
