Kuala Lumpur, 11 October 2008 – Malaysia’s most popular car is set to become more popular, thanks to the launch of the latest SE variant yesterday. Perodua launched the face-lifted Myvi a few weeks before Hari Raya and this new SE is based on the same version.
The Myvi is the country’s best selling car, topping the sales chart from the day it was launched in 2005 until today. With more than 260,000 units of the Myvi sold since dat One,. perhaps the Myvi can be considered as the perfect car for the current Malaysian needs, based on its spacious design, engine size, and value for money package.
The previous SE provd to be a hit too, with 33,222 units sold. That represents about 25% of the total Myvi sold for the period. Apart from the exciting new colour Tangerine Orange, the new SE sports a totally redesigned body-kit, complete with a rear spoiler, and a bumper that is unique to the model.
The list of other changes includes new fog lights, red coloured Optitron meters, headlights with black background, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather seats and an attractive looking double DIN stereo unit, which plays MP3 and WMA with USB jack and Bluetooth function.
