Hannah Tan and Alex Yoong Support Automotive Education

Alex Yoong and Hanna Tan showed their support for automotive education at the recent education fair held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Celebrity and artiste Hannah Tan made a special appearance at TOC, The Otomotif College’s booth to promote her fan club, answering requests of fans for her autograph and photography opportunity. She encouraged school leavers to consider automotive as one of their study options.

Another celebrity who made a special appearance at TOC’s booth was A1 Team Malaysia driver Alex Yoong. Alex was a speaker for a series of talks titled ‘Studying & Working – A personal experience’ at the fair in which he shared his experiences in the motor racing arena with school leavers. He highlighted the career and earning prospects of working in the automotive field and encouraged those who have a passion for motorsport to consider taking it up as a career if they can withstand the pressure and fast-paced lifestyle.

Visitors at the fair were mesmerized with the bright yellow A1 race car that was on display at TOC’s booth. Fans of Alex took the opportunity to approach him for his autograph and many also grasped the opportunity to take pictures with him.

Students who are interested in automotive studies can try out TOC’s ‘Experience Automotive’ 1-day Bootcamp to get a glimpse of modern automotive technology. This fun-filled programme incorporates hands-on activities on engines, auto electrical systems, car audio systems and how an automobile works.

TOC offers a 2.5-year Diploma in Modern Automotive Technology for school leavers who are interested to pursue automotive as a career. January and April intakes are now open for registration.
