Proton Offers Lower Prices
Shah Alam, 29 March 2006 – Although it does not have to reduce its selling prices, Proton has done so in a nationwide sales campaign to garner more sales.
Proton Edar Sdn. Bhd. announced a special promotional package for selected models, offering further value-for money for choosing the national car to Malaysians. Savings range between 5 and 7 percent.
According to a press release by Proton Holdings,’this promotion is in line with the recent call by the Government for the local manufacturers to further review the prices downward. “We believe, given the importance and necessity of owning a car by Malaysians, this promotion will make our cars more affordable today rather than later,” said Datuk Maruan Mohd Said, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Edar.
