Swedish Marque’s ‘Balik Kampung’ Offer
Swedish Marque Sdn Bhd, the recently appointed Volvo car dealer, is offering a complimentary 20-point safety check and RM500 service voucher that can be immediately utilised for repair costs and service packages.
The exclusive privilege coincides aptly with the upcoming ‘balik kampung’ exodus to celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri towards the end of November.
“During festive seasons, people travel across city and country to renew family ties and friendships. Therefore, the least that we at Swedish Marque can do is to ensure that their Volvo vehicles are in optimum condition for these journeys,” said Pang Cheong Yan, the company’s General Manager.
“With our free 20-point safety check and RM500 service voucher, Volvo owners will drive with greater peace of mind, knowing that their journeys will be safer and hassle-free,” he added.
Swedish Marque’s exclusive offer, which ends 30 November 2003, is available to all Volvo car owners at its modern and well-equipped 28-bay service centre in Sungei Besi, operated by a team of Volvo certified technicians that can handle up to 18,000 vehicle visits per annum.

The 20-point safety check, which takes around 30 minutes to complete, covers critical parts including brakes, battery terminals, cooling system, driveshaft, exhaust system and suspension system as well as inspects fluid levels in the engine, auto transmission, power steering, brakes and radiator.
In addition, the RM500 service voucher can be used for affordable service packages designed to maintain a full range of Volvo vehicles at their optimum performance levels.
Some of these packages include the RM444 and RM484 deals for the 75,000 km service interval for S40/V40/S60 and XC70 models respectively; a RM558 offer for the 100,000 km service interval for S70/V70 makes; and a similar RM464 plan for S80 2.0T and XC90 2.5T/T6 models at service intervals of 105,000 km and 15,000 km respectively.
