New EON Service Outlet in Northern region

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Bhd (EON) has opened a new franchise service dealer outlet in Kulim that will serve the township and its surrounding areas in the south of Kedah.

Opened in refurbished premises, the franchise service dealership is operated by Menara Tegas Sdn Bhd. The outlet, located at Jalan Tunku Mohd Assad, is equipped to ensure quality customer service support.

Speaking at the opening, EON managing director Datuk Adzmi Abdul Wahab said: “Customer service and support are key ingredients to ensure loyalty for the brand. With AFTA’s impending arrival in 2005, EON is gearing to ensure that it has a formidable network of outlets throughout the country to support the sale and service of Malaysia’s national car Proton.”

At present, EON has the largest network with 495 outlets nationwide to provide a range of services that include sales of Proton cars, genuine Proton spare parts, full service and repair, car accessories, car care products, trade ins, refurbished and used Proton cars, insurance and finance.

Franchised sales and service dealers number 280 and are found in a well-distributed network to effectively reach Proton car customers in all corners of Malaysia, and to ensure full customer service support and repair works. Throughput in 1999 for EON’s service outlets touched 759,194 units, contributing revenues of RM200 million from service charges and sales of parts.
