Bro you mean engine oil temperature right?

If you push your car hard in an urban area without any long road to cruise, you can reach that temperature in this new FXT. This new DIT runs quite hot. But if you are just cruising or say caught in traffic, I do not expect it to go above 103 to 105 deg C in this car, based on my observation so far.

Also, what petrol you using? RON 95?

And during the run in period, it can also be warmer, which it was in my case.

But if you say normal style driving and you get that temp, then it will seem unusual to me.

Yes. I confirm what bro joker said. Moreover, if you are speeding with frequent turbo kick in, you can reach 10x deg c.

Tested the FXT yesterday from PJ HQ. A short 10 min test going thru jammed roads so couldn't say much. Before that visited a unit in Tropicana City Mall displayed by a dealer. There was a slight difference interior wise, the one in PJ had a fabric seat whilst the Mall's, leather.

Built impression was a little marred as the test unit's inner grab handle had a feel as if some of its screws was loose. Other than that, it looked okay.

The performance really good though. Very responsive and responded instantly ever time the pedal was pressed. Looked like a good seller as no significant discount is offered other than service vouchers worth 2k.

Asked a dealer in Setapak last week. He said there might be a discount of RM5k. Still very steep for a Jap's SUV.

I don't get leather seats but still I get the Harmon kardon player and speakers. Hope they don't change ice configuration, it is just nice for me. If you want a 2.0 DIT then you must pay a little lah... if not you can opt for the 2.0 NA FB series....but than...you missed all the fun..

Bro Joker98,
Lu mana? Bila mau tt balakong?

Cheers

I only consider Forester because of its DIT engine. The non turbo never comes into consideration at all. Still looking around for a good deal. No rush to replace the current ride.
