Most welcome your technical explanation.
I don't really welcome the idea to add a resistor or change the T10 bulb. Anyway .. do you think it will work if the replacement LED is connected as Day Light Running Light as ASX have a fius panel for LED daylight running light. That won't confuse the ECU but just afraid the ECU will not function properly when they are unable the detect the T10 light.
They even have a manual on how to install DRL online:-

Yes, possible with some modification on wiring and have to enable the DRL from the ETACS setting.

Hello,
Kindly ignore my post earlier. I was confused and mixed up the T10 with front turn signal bulb. The T10 bulb as mentioned by ahl is actually the Position Lamp. The original position lamp is a 5W lamp (W5W).
Base on the circuit diagram, the position lamp is in the group of Tail Light Control Circuit.
The position lamp Left is in the same circuit of License Plate Light + Rear Combination Light Left
The position lamp right is in the same circuit of Rear Combination Light Right + Glove box Light

Is your Glove Box Light and Rear Combination Light Right working ok? Can you swap the polarity of the T10 LED and see what happen?
Hi goldfish, i swapped and it still the same. left side no issue. only right side. whenever front blink the rear will blink too. but i dint notice the Glove Box Light.
i still hv not send to mechanic to check. will find a day send it to mechanic.

What is the monthly sales for CKD ASX? Last time, we can know from the sales report but due to some reason, we are not updated it. Anyway we can get the report?

Hi,
I will be getting a new ASX next week or week after next.. I will be letting go the New stock tyre from it. 215 / 60 R17 probably from DUNLOP because I will change it to Bridgestone or Michelin straight after getting the new car..

will it works to start engine w/o having the key? I mean it's keyless system..

do u guys know any about "LED Canbus free"? if u notice some of the online seller will remark " Canbus free ". this LED is with built in resistor where it help to draw the same amount of voltage as normal bulb. thus, the Can Bus system in the car will read it as normal bulb instead of LED.
Any of u use it ? i'm thinking to get a pair of this CanBus free LED to try on my ride, see will it solve my problem.

I'm getting my ride this week and planned to change the bulbs to LED as well. Pls recommend where I can get this type of bulbs.
Btw, what is the low beam headlight bulb type for ASX 4WD?

Hi ahl,
I think the left still have the resistance from the License Plate Light. The right will be all LEDs after you changed the Position Light bulb to LED.
Maybe you should try to salvage your LEDs and change it to the rear License Plate Light(remain the 5W position lamp bulb).
