I'm interested in a CT too, but I'm afraid of the DSG juddering issue. Can you guys (CT owners) advise if you see this problem on your ride?
bigDice: If can group and buy from single dealer, we can bargain for better discounts.
with big discount,5 years warranty.... I still feel ok to have CT even DSG risk.

Are the five years manufacturer's warranty? Or is it 2 yrs + 3 yrs extended warranty. My worry is the SC starts giving excuses that extended warranty doesn't cover gearbox etc with a whole load bullshit.
How big a discount did you get?

I bought pre own CT from wearnes at 27k discount , mileage at 6500km.
with 2 years VW warranty + 3 years Allianz warranty.
jerking problem solved after mechatronic unit changed and twice clutch changed.
no others car in Malaysia get warranty as car service every 15000km!

Thanks. Why did you change the clutch twice? Is it because the problem didn't get solved the first time?
Can you also describe the problem observation on the DSG? Is it at very low speeds, during gear change or etc? And how jerky was it?

first clutch changed before the mechatronic campaign is call. even then,i did complain the jerking but SC said wait for the VW Germany to give green light to have 2nd change. and they did.
the jerk is like you drive manual car, which engaged wrong gear that you press the paddle to drag the car moving at low speed.
but now my CT is moving like flying carpet.
therefor do not let those VW technician to tell you this minor jerking is normal.

if you go into pualtan website , click into cross touran review, you will see silver leaf wvw3700
Thanks stsum, I have confirmed my order of white color. My previous 2 cars was silver color, time for a change perhaps.

Sorry mooncake. I have confirm my order before. Just wanna choose color between white and silver leaf. Btw, I also afraid of the DSG problem. I hope the 2013 model is ok lor...
