Bigdice / stsum, can u guys advice the cost for service for CT? How much do u need to pay every 15k service?
Also, do u know how expensive are the spare parts? If u can give some examples, that will be great.

first clutch changed before the mechatronic campaign is call. even then,i did complain the jerking but SC said wait for the VW Germany to give green light to have 2nd change. and they did.
the jerk is like you drive manual car, which engaged wrong gear that you press the paddle to drag the car moving at low speed.
but now my CT is moving like flying carpet.
therefor do not let those VW technician to tell you this minor jerking is normal.

stsum, you mentioned minor jerking. So it's not strong jerks, just minor but repeatedly, and then it will go away when you pick up speed?

mooncake2-san,
Sorry if my info is misleading, as I use a different approach to maintain the car. The Touran I bought for my wife is an ex-stock unit, so the oil is aged. So,
1st service was performed at 800km, which I use 15K km as benchmark in addition to a DSG oil change, hence 700+ bucks spent.
The 2nd service was when the time is up, but the mileage is still distance away, service at 10K km, but uses 30K km as benchmark, spent 1000bucks.
The 3rd service which was recently, again the 6 months period is up, standing at 20K km. So I uses 45K km service schedule as benchmark, on top of an early spark plug and DSG oil change, spent 1.4K.
You can follow strictly to VW recommended schedule. I am just weird.

Bro,
I thought is 15k km or 1 year, whichever earlier ? 6 months ka ?
Also, my style is follow the required interval for service, e.g. 15k and 30k as it is per manual book.
In between like 7.5k, 22.5k , just normal change engine oil & filter only.
My reasoning is, engine oil will degrade over time. This I agree.
But wear & tear item like spark plug, brake pad, etc. will generally degrade over usage (mileage) rather than time.
I use the word "generally" , as e.g. brake pad won't finish if you don't drive (and brake) the car. But of course, the performance may degrade (arguable) due to oxidation, etc. but that should be minimal effect, unless for tracking.

yes, the jerks gone when engage to 3rd speed and higher speed. but now changed the new clutch and MU, no more jerk at slow speed. but do not know can last for how long.
