My OEM tyres are due for a change soon. I'm currently at 20k km and I expect to change the tyres at between 30k to 35k km.

I just discovered Contiseal tyres. Apparently they are not as expensive as run-flats and are standard fitment in higher-end VWs sold in Malaysia.

Does anyone have experience with Contiseal?

No, it doesn't. The S-Max comes with normal tyres with a tyre sealing and inflation kit supplied.

then i suggest u keep the radial tyres setup. run flats on suspension setup that wasn't designed for run flats will ruin the ride.

That's why I'm considering Contiseal.

Hi Kevin,

Is your S-Max using Goodyear Excellence 225/50 R17?

One SDAC Ford salesman told me the Ford S-Max is using Run-Flat tyres.....now I'm confused.

How to check whether it is run-flat?

Thanks

Run flats must have tpms as an accesory. Otherwise, one does not know when the tyre is running on flat smile_big.gif

My current smax is running on michelin premacy hp.
