Hi bro , You might encounter "injector balancing fault " after service injector , it is because the injected volume varies from the requested ,probally wrong C21 , after a period MDP will take place to override the varience and Compensate it , i had encountered this issue before , after speed like crazy @ highway , the error gone...
Hi bro,
i hav discussed with Taiping sc yesterday about C2I issue. Our Rex is talking abt C2I of 16-digit code and market is launch with C3I of 20-digit code since 2010. This is even complicated but hav better fc control. Thru the discussion, we knowing that the 16-code is combination of 8 characteristic where obtain automatically by special machine. As we may know, the code can be 11, 99, AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, From this combination, we understand that the max is 'FF' where representing '255'. So, we yet to find out this coding is base on what as reference point and how it optimise our rex FC/performance.
I check back our Rexton Manual taking about injector yesterday. I found interesting info where the manual explain injector function and why C2i and ECU control are important to our rex. Probably, 9885 has experience the extremly negative situation where coding and ECU is out of communication and detected by sensors. Finally, multiple fault may seeing on/off depend on ECU checking and driving behaviour. We see this complicated because we have advance ECU, if we have old model of diesel engine where no ECU/branch of diagnostic sensors, we see 'no problem' where the car is still move on the road perfectly. so, we may not detect any fault but high FC. This can be justified..
Bro Neonlee advice can be true because our ECU is learning/adjusting the coding while we driving. Our ECU is inteligent enough to learn our rex speed from slow to fast and adjust the entering code. (bear in mind where the rail pressure is from 200bar to 1600bar) May be we need Neonlee advice further study at ECU to understand where 16-digit store and does our ECU modify the coding when rex is running for certain period. As we know, the coding is 'expired' after sometime due to wear & tear of injector. If we think out of box, if our rex does using '1 Malaysia' or default, do we having similar jerking as our bro 9885?? if no, why and what is the reason behind?
Anyway, Taiping sc has chit chat abt this with Bro Teerex, and they also felt that coding can be the best way to diagnostic this issue. I think we can try this out because this is software entering only no parts change. But, way of getting correct coding may be difficult and we may hav to try in error otherwise we hav to send to KL for regenerating code thru machine. I think bro Wilson has mentioned this before.
FYI good news to bro9885, Taiping sc has commit to check and test to diagnos the main reason. He will giv free consultant and workshop test as long as you are free to drop by because he also would like to understand how and why Kulim SC is insist on injector issue.
let me know if you have any doubt.
cheers,
Jayce Lee
