Hi guys,

Yup, just registered and new here. Actually would like to ask about the Korando C Actyon here as I see you guys have been using it for sometime.

How is the servicing like? I mean minor service and major service in terms of $$$?
Was it every 5k or 10k kilometers in between?

Can I use any diesel or just certain diesel?

Wow... 10.8L per 100 km... that's a bit high for a diesel. One of the reason I was going for diesel was the fc. Any more statistics I can compare? I believe you have remap the thing but still the gear problem presisted sad.gif

Bro, the FC is around there for town use for AWD with auto box. The 2WD model not sure. Any bro can report on this?
If buying on FC criteria alone, then not the right choice.

It is way away from the specs listed for FC, too far away. Initially when i took delivery of the car, my FC even went up to 12.5L but after remapping of tcu , i am now getting 10.8L which is suppose to be good.

No good for FC and also damm lousy for smooth ride....

Hmm.. 10.8L/100km or $0.1944/km, is this fully city drive or highway drive? Rexton RX270XDI after remap could easily get around $0.18/km or 10L/100km. I have got about $0.1625/km or 9.02L/100km with Eco Map 2.0 & EGR Delete

Normal 18 to 19sen, lowest 110kmh is 14.7sen, max all out never touch 22sen . And that with 2700 cc 5piston engine. For actyion should be at least 10 to 20 percent better.

the Rexton 270xdi FC is better than Actyon2! The ECU/TCU maps needs optimization to improve matters. Hopefully the next update will improve its FC.
Bro neonlee, can you take up the challenge? hehehe

If Ssangyong willing to borrow the tool or Actyon owners co-invest the tool, the challenge is highly possible but then again, won't that void your warranty?

might as well send bro neonlee to Ssangyong, Korea to head the software upgrade team for Actyon2. No need to borrow the tool or co-invest the tool la.

yeah, FC is relatively high for a diesel 2.0 engine. it could be due to the high power out put engine.

or maybe different injector because of our diesel......bigger hole maybe with less pressure, power same but economy suffer.

i think the other way. it is using the latest siemens piezo injector, running with higher pressure. it is all about energy equation. "More power more fuel" i think.

but now even the wheel horsepower of my rexton and some of the power map bro same as the actyion( crank about 220hp), heavier by over 300kg, 5 piston, bigger cc ,older engine yet more economy.

actyion is euro 5!!!rexton is euro 3.

ssangyong made the rexton engine base on older merz, improve a few things here and there, change the injector, change the map and still running after 6 year crap diesel and 2 year euro 2 diesel. we hardly see any ml270 on the road now, even the E270 cdi or C270cdi very very rare.

they must have done something before they dare to bring the actyion euro 5 here, hopefully we don't need to wait much longer before euro 4 diesel available and see more variety of diesel car on the road.

6.1L/100km combine , owner are getting over 10L combine.that's over 50% than claimed......maybe you guy can bring some lawyer and sue them..gila ka.
