If you can wait, you'll not be sorry with this car.I feel SD will capture a bigger market share after they bring in this model. The engine is so far ahead of the competition, exception being BMW. The problem is that at present it's mounted on a dated frame. With the new model,I'm sure it will do well.Once you've tasted desiel turbo, no turning back bro!

According to bro Gunner, late this year. What SD does not realise, the longer the wait the more the loss of market share.Judging by the sales of Fiesta,I'd say the new FF will sell well.Got to step up the game, this is a very competitive business. I heard the present model are being offered with 22k discounts.

If SDAC wants to sell the new TDCi, it may not come from Thailand.

"The current Focus models available in the Thai market, with 1.8- and 2.0-litre petrol engines and a 2.0-litre diesel engine, are imported from the Philippines. However, their production will soon be switched to the company's new state-of-the-art Rayong factory, which will produce a range of vehicles for domestic and export markets.
The US$450-million facility is part of Ford's aggressive expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific and Africa.
Production of the Focus, Ford's first global compact, will begin about mid-year with 1.6- and 2.0-litre petrol engines. Diesel models will not be offered."
Well guys, without the Diesel model, I'm out.

I think diesel is not offered because the engine is too advanced for the fuels that we have in SE Asia. Remember we are only on Euro 2M. All the Duratorq TDCi engines in the new Focus are of Euro V+ standard. So this is to be expected!
