Bro, sorry for being OT a bit...since u now have DJBD DA, do u still use your Bohai frequently? I always see your ride as clean & glossy as can be. smile_thumbup.gif smile_wink.gif

I mean do you still use your RB if we've maintained our usual weekly maintenance regime? smile_question.gif smile_question.gif smile_question.gif

actually, the last time i used BoHai on my rides would be Q1 2010, cant remember which month exactly.
other times i pickup the BD first for quick AIO, Swirl-X.
my BoHai now only for compounding, mid-heavy cutting with 4ply wool, LC orange pad, LC white pad.

Hmmm...most probably your rides doesn't need much compounding right? How would u rate the cutting power using BD with LC orange pad? Lets say...to eliminate water spots/marring with Megs UC?

i just compound at the beginning. then when after removed swirls, watermarks, RIDS, i just use BD as maintenance.
with the correct wash methods, drying methods, swirls, etc still comes back but not for a very very long time.

i cant really answer ur question on BD with LC orange. although I have them, havent had the need to do it. if i do, i most probably use my BoHai.

If cutting you mean compounding, some ppl would go for 4 ply wool or LC Purple Foam wool or LC orange pad or Meguiars burgundy pad.

if u mean better as in better cut, to me, both are the same. if you mean better, as in cheaper, depends on size, but LC is generally better priced. velcro back coming off or not, meguiars better.

Lake Country pad application guide

Just take note, that while LC have so many colors, types. Megs only have 3 foam pads, compounding, polishing, finishing, and 1 4-ply wool pad.
