u r right. Use eye to check la. Thats what i did.
They pour 4 litre. start, stop engine. check dipstick also at max already ! I tempted to ask him to drain off few ml so that it does not touches max. The problem w glenmarie is u cannot stand next to them and check. And those SA will say " yea u need 4.1 litre bla bla bla". Just go to any authorised branch and u are able to stand n watch if 4 litre is enough. Btw, changing engine oil no need rocket science. any authorised mech can do it.

I always believe the recommended dipstick level should be just below "max". Or ngam ngam at max.

But if anyone die die also wanna buy another 1 litre so that the dipstick shows above max, hey pls go ahead. Its your money, your car.

yeah too much oil also no good esp those insist & kiasu wana go further than Max.

Too much oil might resulted in overspilling where oil going to places it shouldn't and could seal leaking, oil burning & piston ring worn

there are no discount RM30 if u bring your own engine oil.. sad.gif anyway, still cheaper i bring my own fully oil..5w50. if i want even cheaper, can buy 1 big tong 18L fully store at home, pump it manually into 4L bottle.

Hyundai Labour cost calculation:-
Normal service (RM90x1.0)
10k,30k,50k,70k
Minor service (RM90x1.5)
20k,40k,60k,100k,140k
Major service (RM90x2.5)
40k,80k,120k,160k

*15k,25k..etc all fall at Normal service

Below is the service schdule (Noted: labour cost had revised to RM90 fix rate and NOT per hour)
