Thanks for the details. If I understand your blog correctly, the DG951 is apply without buff off, follow up DG105 and buff off after haze for 1 hour. Do you find it hard to buff off because of the mixture and long hazing time?

I will try with MG UQW instead to see the result, have it collecting dust for awhile.

What I did was spray DG951 AW and just go round and round in circles until it disappears. Don't over spray until wet like crazy or else it won't flash off or evaporate. Its much easier if you have an ROB or better still RB at 700rpm with finishing pad. Then when finish applying DG951 AW, just go one round buff to a nice shine with a clean cloth. Its DG601 PBA which is applied without buffing.

Then once you AW the whole car, then go through with DG105 then let it haze. I like to use 1hr, just to make sure that the sealant has time to haze and semi cure. It can be alittle hard to buff off if you leave it for 1hr. But hard to buff off is very personal. To me it is still easy when you compare with Klasse High Gloss Sealant which is considered very hard to buff off.

If you find a little hard to buff off DG105 at 1hr just try at 45min or 30 min interval. Also depends on the weather on the day. Very hot and dry will cure faster. Also it helps alot if you use a clean microfiber to buff off. An old MF cloth with stuff stuck to it will obviously wont be as effective as a clean one.

You must try the DG951 AW and DG105 layering combo. Sure you will be happy with it. Deep wet look. Then next time you can try layer DG105>DG951>DG105>TC.

For me I like DG601>DG105>DG951>DG105>TC this combo. Gives a nice balance between deep wet look but yet nice sharp reflective shine.

Bro you never read my blog ah. Must support lah, you can see pics there as well. You can see the diff when you enlarge the pics. With TC the details in the pillar wall reflection off the bonnet more detail than the DG105.

The reflection do looks better on the photo of Duragloss Track Claw Racing Polish 2930 as compared with Duragloss AW 951 + TPP 105 but could it caused by more sunlight exposure?

Could be possible, but the resolution on the TC pic is also much more lower then the DG105. But in real life you can see TC is much more brighter and reflective than DG105. DG105 to my eyes seems deeper and wetter, TC looks to my more glossy, brighter and more crisp.

What you see in the pic is what you should notice in real life. If you can see it in the pic the difference is much more in real life.

Notice that this duragloss.co.my very diff to access. smile_sad.gif
May be the line is fully utilise, businese too good smile_big.gif

You mean DG105 don't have cleaning agent?

Testing TW Ultra Gloss on side right side mirror, after buff notice that the surface like not oily.
Left side mirror with PG Sealant, surface smooth with oily feel. Hhmm, shouldn't be wax suppose to be more oily feel than sealant? smile_shock.gif

DG105 have more protection then cleaning. If requires cleaning the combo is with DG501 and this have more cleaning then protection.

want to ask a very noob question ah, dont laugh at me...

Is that all sealant got UV protection? Myvi paint dont have UV protection, that why u can see white myvi become yellowish, apple green become fade and etc.

any recommendation for good sealant with UV protection ah? last time i use polymer glazz(blue liquid 1), then change to liquid spray type(forget wat brand alr) ... now finish alr, is time for me to hunt for sealant.......

With time and under the hot sun anything will fade. Only can prolong by continuous cleaning and waxing of the paint..... smile_tongue.gif

When I tested DG105, it surely has cleaners but very mild. Its very hard to describe how mild but I'll try. For those who has a white car, lets say you detail the car on sunday then drive for the whole week and in the week there was plenty rain and sun. So 1 week has passed and its Sunday and you wash your car. Then you notice the white car and car shampoo cannot remove all the black staining and black streaks. So you use DG105 on half the bonnet/car and you can see very clearly the difference. You can also see your application pad is all black.

That is the cleaning power or DG105. I would say low as these stains are "fresh". But in the same example you leave the stains on the car for 2-3 months you will notice that DG105 cannot remove it completely, then you will need stronger stuff.

So DG105 has cleaning power for only "fresh" light staining.

Nothing beat seeing the actual finishing and admiring the shine and glow after a day of hardwork. Difficult to capture the fine details with normal camera and without high power lightings. Going to be another spending spree to equip with the right fluorescent flood/spot light and high power LED torch and also the quality DSR that can capture such details.
