Then once you AW the whole car, then go through with DG105 then let it haze. I like to use 1hr, just to make sure that the sealant has time to haze and semi cure. It can be alittle hard to buff off if you leave it for 1hr. But hard to buff off is very personal. To me it is still easy when you compare with Klasse High Gloss Sealant which is considered very hard to buff off.
If you find a little hard to buff off DG105 at 1hr just try at 45min or 30 min interval. Also depends on the weather on the day. Very hot and dry will cure faster. Also it helps alot if you use a clean microfiber to buff off. An old MF cloth with stuff stuck to it will obviously wont be as effective as a clean one.
You must try the DG951 AW and DG105 layering combo. Sure you will be happy with it. Deep wet look. Then next time you can try layer DG105>DG951>DG105>TC.
For me I like DG601>DG105>DG951>DG105>TC this combo. Gives a nice balance between deep wet look but yet nice sharp reflective shine.
Bro,
Sorry quite a few question as i see you use DG in a very different way hehe ..
Just to check with you, how come it takes up to 1hr to CURE?

WOW DG601>DG105>DG951>DG105 NEVER tried that b4 ! , i always thought AQW is always a TOPPER, i didn't know it can be use as a LAYER, gotta try that bro !
Oh ya, in between this layers bro, did u wait for it to cure, then buff off before the next layer ?
or you apply all and SEKALI buff off ?
Or after u apply a layer, buff off and apply the next, but in between of buff off n and the next layer, do you leave it for a duration of time first ?

That is the cleaning power or DG105. I would say low as these stains are "fresh". But in the same example you leave the stains on the car for 2-3 months you will notice that DG105 cannot remove it completely, then you will need stronger stuff.
So DG105 has cleaning power for only "fresh" light staining.
Err bro ... means you 105 the car EVERY WEEK AH ?
How i wish i have this time luxury sob sob

currently, i applied DG601>DG105> after a day, i top up with >DG951. following week will be car wash >DG951.my plan is repeat this steps for few weeks, then put a layer of TC. i feel that DG105 can last longer than TC.
DG105 can last longer than TC - I SECONDED this.
but bro, DG601>DG105> after a day, i top up with >DG951,
do you wash your car b4 AQW ?
I think no AQW should be applied on an unwash car even for a day ? Dust just sit on the car immediately after any fresh detailing.
Sad & annoying but TRUE ......

But instead if, Wash->Clay>-501->601->TC->105 I can see a more in depth Oily Wet look on the car, maybe i m hallucinating, smell too much of the POWERFUL & nice fragrance of DG product, hahahhaha ..... i duno la but this is what i feel loh.
I m driving a WHITE CAR, maybe the effect is not that significant.
One thing i gotta say if u Wash->Clay>-501->601->TC->105 on a BLACK Car, the Deeper Oily effect is immediately felt in the eye, tried this on my friend's Black CITY.
If you like the deep oily/wet look just Wash->Clay>-501->601->105->951->105->951->105. (Any extra layer will start to mute the reflections). So once you see the reflections slightly muted like you see in my blog of the civic, when you add 1 layer of TC, the reflections become sharper.
You won't see much on the white car as reflections aren't that clear on white colour. When I tried it on my maroon civic, TC is obviously very different from 105. Much more obvious when going to darker colours. For me I like the sharper reflective look rather than the deeper wet, so I use TC on the civic only and not 105 lately. Its also much easier to buff off and slick.
Who ever is reading this, I'm only speaking for my experience, I'm not saying it must be the way the only way and is final. That is how I got my results. So just sharing my way, so pls try it out. If it works for great. If it doesn't just stick to your favorite method as each car's paint, colour, condition, factory paint or respray is different. My civic is a respray and chances are the CC is also thicker than OE. My civic is also wet sanded to reduce OP and has a layer of Quartz coating below all the DG stuff. So my car's results can really be different from everyone else.
But from what I'm been reading general consensus is that DG105 does give deep wet look. Layering 951 and 105 will give a very deep wet look from my experience.
So all you people with DG105 and 951, pls try the layering method out and feedback your results and pics to share. I think this should be moved to DG Detaling steps.

I think you meant DG601 can last for 2yrs right since we don't use it that often.
From my testing Dg105 will last 4-5weeks with DG601. Problem with my car is that it is a solid white with no CC and it gets stained easily. So usually after 2-3weeks sometimes 4weeks (depending on weather) I already put another layer of DG105 on the car because I use DG105 as a paint cleaner for light staining which my car will have after 2weeks depending on the weather. So durability is not an issue for me. Its the coating which is there that gets stained. So basically the car is always protected.
My car is already 14yrs with OE factory paint. So nothing beats constant topping up of your favorite wax/sealant with paint cleaning thrown in.
Ohh... i mean since normal user will apply DG105 every 3 to 6 month and I think DG601 will be apply every 6 to 12 months.
So, those remain in the bottle will be keep in the store room. In this case DG601 will last you for few years

I has old Polyglaze Glide on Glaze, and would like to apply one layer on it.
After remove scratch with Soff99 Luster, then polish with [T-Cut and F21] mix, the panel already looks like mirror.
After apply Polyglaze GoG, a little better shining before.
Now, looking for non-abrasice sealant before top up with TW Ultra Gloss Liq WAX.
Some ppl claim that Polyglaze GoG contain polymers, sound like sealant ... i dun know. Can't find much info from net.
Some ppl claim that Glade won;t last but the bottle claim that it can last 6 months. confuse.....
To be safe better top up with sealant

Glide on glaze ! wow, use it long... long time ago on my Iswara then. Remembered it does gave quite a shine on my car.
Haven't seen one on any shop for a while. Anyway for sealant, at least for me I'll stick with Opti-seal

Can we mix wax and sealant together and paste on car?

Wax and sealants are of difference composition, better not to mix....

I feel that too DG105 last longer but TC finish is much slicker.....

Base on the method, you will use up all your DG105 faster than DG601.
And one bottle of DG105 can last you for 2 years?
Wah, like that you will keep your remain DG601 in store room loh.

DG601 even though is a bonding agent is a cleaner too. You can apply before any sealant, to help it bond better....
