Thought you just change your VFC to Vemo. Did you use back the old VFC after you service it? Maybe that is your problem the last two days.....

Actually Merc engine needed higher temp for better running.

Rexton engine is a copy of Merc's. Thought all engines more efficient at higher temperature but not to the point of overheating.

Yes it always happen when aircon not at lowest setting like during rain or at night. Still think your VFC is suspect. Mine after fitting recon VFC never happen again. Is your VFC still light to turn like when new?

Still it would be good to check out the VFC. I remember when it happened the electric fans would be at high speed. Seems like the coolant sensor detected sudden increase in temperature indicating impending overheating and activate them and also cut off aircon compressor and goes into limp mode etc

Hi Bros,

Just wanted to find out some solution, can you pls check your engine whether you have any coolant on your radiator tank..? or just a water itself..? Before i replace the new Vemo VFC, the problems persist but don't like this time, this time taken longer and needed to restart the engine, when I ramp up my engine to higher speed, then it go back to normal again.

My Experience on the problems persist only during raining days, when downhill from Genting Highland or Cameron highland, but not in uphill…!!

Suspect is our thermostart valve problems.

Bros who have installed Performance Vacuum Turbo Hose, please share your feedback and experience. Those Bros who are interested, please report in as well, so we can estimate if the current material on hand is sufficient to cover the order. If not, will need to order new stock of material.

install the turbo vacuum hose yesterday, notice that turbo kicking much earlier below 1800rpm(for my car ), for the lag between 1800 rpm and 2200 rpm gone already. weekend must change the other vacuum hose too. smile_thumbup.gif
