From my experience (my waja 1.6, persona 1.6, wira 1.6, iswara 1.3), 1.3 FC normally not as good as 1.6...

I feel that is underpower but good for city drive..

always maintain not more than 3k rpm, and use higher gear to maintain good fc.. smile.gif (cruising >60km/h with 5th gear)

From my experience with 1.5 Wira manual and My friend's Vios auto. FC is same from new to old, maybe less than 10% improve.
So Saga FL auto should get around 18-20 cents/km after 10kkm, highway 110-120kph around 15cents(not yet try). If try to reduce unnecessary gear change may improve FC too.

I like Wira's steering feel better but overall handling goes to BLM as u can feel what is the rear doing.
With Wira, rear feeling is vague, u can never tell when is is going to slide.
With BLM, it gradually over steer and this makes u confident to push further.

fc wise, with good behaviour driving i hav push to 415km per full tank.
Calculation returned i think was about 13km/l or close to 14km/l.
Usual driving will return from as low as 11km/l, with an auto tranny that is.
My car is used for long distance travelling so in general the fc is going to be better than other auto BLM.
The engine is also a lot more alife.

the ori brake pad is not enough(almost all OE pad are like that) so just swap ip with aftermarket pad.
The fog lamp can be adjusted but as the name suggest, only use it when there is fog or there is no oncoming car.
It will glare oncoming vehicle.

my parent also said quite powerful...dont have underpower feel woh...

regarding the FC, new car always higher than normal lar.... if those who keep on condemn FC is bad when car is new, proven they haven drive "NEW" car before... My 4G18P junk FC also bad when it is new... 059.gif

Haven run in the brake pad, no comment now...
I like the sound when start engine, dam nice to hear compare to 4G18 or p2 engine...

i notice that executive spec n standard spec NVH got difference a bit... when i close executive spec door, sound is solid.. but when close standard spec door, sound dam milo tin.

Another RM30 get around 160km, FC improve to 18-19cents/km. Headlamp again, the light is not super brignt, but better than a lot of cars. Braking is better when hot. Found that torque from 1500-2500rpm is not enough for me. Always drop to 3rd and 2nd gear (3k++ rpm )when going up hill or over-taking., compared to 1.5 Wira M which uses 3rd/4th gear (2k++ rpm), sometime 5th gear kickdown will do (with around 2k-3k rpm). Again, handling is nice, few like smaller version Waja.

I dont know about FL but older BLM hav normal lighting with super wide reflector so it spread the light over a wide area instead of focusing it to the road ahead. Waja's lighting is better, so is my sis Kenari.
The brake is better when hot but up to a limit where it will fade and the OE pad cannot handle my braking behaviour so i hav to swap. If it can still suite your driving then by all mean keep it.

Your engine seems to be still tight. U can let me hav a go at your engine for a week then i can assure u the fc will improve smile_tongue.gif
If your car is driven by few different driver it will adapt to the driver's driving pattern which is why my car become lazy and reluctant to downshift when my sis drove it for a few days.

Overtaking is done easily by pulling the lever from D to 3rd. I found it easier this way instead of waiting to the kickdown.
The thing is with overtaking is doing it the right way. Dont follow too close, slingshot your way. U save more fuel and its safer.

What is ur mileage now? Do u still send ur BLM to Proton Service Center?
Currently the car is new, so I keep everything original. Maybe the pads are 1st to be upgraded. Highway cruising is nice but 3500rpm at 120kph is a bit high. Just back from outstation, 110-120kph for 3hrs to reach there, back time very jam, took 7 hrs, average FC around 16-17 cents for 550km. Manually drop to 3rd and 2nd is faster for over-taking, and more accurate. Still new to auto but fun to smile_tongue.gif drive it.
