Mitsubishi flew a number of Malaysian journalists to Japan some months back to test the ASX along with the Pajero and Lancer Sportback 2.4.

One of them who spoke to me said that the ASX was no bigger than the Peugeot 3008.

View this video youtube. "ASX is designed with maximum cabin space but yet compact exterior design". Just like Merc B-Class. Look small from outside but big inside.

possible....after proton rebadge it again smile_clown.gif

Everyone I talked to say the same thing.....Sure you want to buy a Mitsubishi car?! Proton will copy it the next year......Remind me of the KIA/NAZA story.....

I guess Mitsubishi Malaysia never learn from mistakes that other made in the past!

Havent you guys heard? Mitsubishi Malaysia will only be selling MPV,SUV from Mitsubishi. Their sedan range will be superceded by Proton (manufacturing under license, just badged Proton not Mitsu). And also, Proton actually buy/barter trade the Exora chasis for the Lancer deal.

So there is a very very very low, small chance of that happening to ASX. But then, anything is possible.

P1 just announced will be accepting booking for their new "WALan" with 2 variant. 1.8L(less than rm80K) and 2.0L(less than rm95K) engine capacity models. I guess P1 will not even bother to change the engine. Just change the logo only!

In short, Mitsubishi cars owner here is on their own! Their 2nd car value will drop overnight by at least rm15K!! I only pity those Mitsubishi car dealers and salesman!!
