FC will be high if you do a lot of short distance driving....even my wife's ex-kelisa last time: 6km to office, 6km back then 1 km to baby sitter and home, then 0.5km to in-law house for dinner and back and plus other short drive to shops == can get around 11km/L or 16.4 cents, very high for tiny 800kg 1.0L auto car!

I went to penang with nofear last weekend....even speeding (130 - 160km/hr smile_big.gif ) i still can get 13km/L
You can throw some weight off by downsizing to 15" rims, buy from EX owners from fb or myforte club...but don't expect more than 15% FC savings....not much if you get the LW 17" coz tyre contact area still same 215 wide

I don't own a Forte but this rule applies to all car no matter what condition you drive.

Pump the air up to manufacturer's recommendation or higher. But that will deliver even more harder shocks to the car.

It did save me quite some fuel. About ~7%.
