My FC for 1.6SX :- 540km for RM80. This included servicing in SC where they revved the car in neutral for a few minutes & turned on AC & engine while cehcking engine, etc.
60% city 40% highway.
Getting better now.

yup.not 300 psi..hehe. bro DT i just drive from seri kembangan to Selama perak my full tank is rm 80 (553 my full tank) fill up with Bhp ron 95..reach selama perak avarage speed is 90-100.reach selama perak got almost half tank.from selama drive all the way reach Tapah R&R.my tank left quater to empty.fill up again with bhp ron 95 (rm 70).reach seri kembangan from tapah R&R (not so smooth drive because got 3 eksiden so trafic is bad) 2 bar from full (rm 25 i guest).the driving, handling, tork (when climb hill) is good enough but when i try to drive fast (160) it seems the car feels understeer.hmm its time to do elaiment and balancing i guest.
a new hope...

like it or not i have to admit Forte SX FC is high.say whatever u guys want to say.its start bugging me all over the place.so my option will be 2

1. Change the light weight 17 inch rims

2. Change to 15 inch rims (i still got 4 dount of 15 ToyoT1R tire)

any idea guys?

please give some idea to all Forte sifu.....TQ

Hi DSAI,

In the borrowed Forte 1.6EX with 15" sport rim. Pumped in BHP RON95 RM50 about 27.8L fuel

Normal city traffic : 340km at 12.2km/L

Heavier city traffic : 330km at 11.9km/L

Driving style, mostly below 2000rpm or 2500rpm. Sometimes when accelerating only reach 3000rpm then back to 2500 or 2000rpm. By overall it is good to get FC like this whereas other cars would have been worse.

Vs my ex N16 at 12km/L, my friends' Altis 1.6E 12.3km/L, city 13km/L and vios 14km/L. For a car as big as Forte that could sit 5 full size adults well and powered by 1.6L powertrain without pulling power lag is considered good for its FC. Highway FC, going to try after I've done few more city traffic.

I've just placed booking for Forte 1.6EX. Mind change tyres with mine? 15" sport rims and spare wheel is the light temporary wheel, help reduce weight. I don't mind exchange all 4 tyres + spare with your 17" rims. smile_big.gif
