Its been again very long since I logged on.
For the power window, I will advice you not to get as there is no space in the door. I installed central locking and even the pump was very difficult to install as space is a concern. The easiest way to install a power window motor is to take a unit for the old nissan Sunny as the motor is attached on the door panel. This will interfere with the leg space.
No no no, don't install power window.
as for the suspension, APM has a single parabolic spring. Its about 400 per spring and its supposed to emulate the normal coil springs for 4WD cars. If you can get a set for Jimny's considered good liao.
Gearbox 1st and 2nd gear grinding noise? I had a similar problem whereby the coupling between gearbox and rear axle was loose. At low speeds it sounded like the whole thing was going to drop off. At higher speeds, it smoothen out.
However, clutch pedal grinding means clutch koyak liao. Best way to fix is to change the clutch or cheaper way is to change with spare gearbox. (Clutch and workmanship is nearly Rm600, but 2nd hand gearbox plus workmanship is RM500). Up to you to decide which option to take.
