SX4 sedan

i just came back from suzuki showroom in kuching.
price is RM95,555.40 (sarawak price)
less RM15,900 (8,900 discount from suzuki and 7,000 OT)
less RM17,000 (trade-in kenari 2004 special edition) i think sa value my kenari is a bit low because i survey my kenari should be around 20k but with the discount RM15,900, it doesnt matter and quite attractive unless i insist to get kenari value higher.
so, loan is RM62,600. with 2.8% (rhb islamic), 5 years loan is RM1,190 per month

Question now, is it worth to buy SX4 considering this is 2008 model? what happen to CBU japan model expose too long at yard? any feedback from owner who has been using since early 2009? any other goodies i can get from sa since i think they really want to clear off this 2008 stock

try to look out for signs tire bulging and batt. condition coz the car is parked at the yard for so long

Anyway, i wanna know if there's 2 version of SX4 sedan ? One is normal spec while another one is premium version ?

Last 2 weeks i checked out a showroom near the Naza World there....sales didn't mention either it's premium or what...but it comes with full bodykits.....no leather seats, no door visor nor tints.... discount of RM12,000 in various color

But last 2 days, went to another showroom, sales said it's premium version which to me....it looks juz the same but they will provide leather seats, tints, door visor n bodykits.....plus a rear spoiler.....but an ugly one ! I managed to squeeze further reductions also.....

So anyone had a better deal ?

My SX4 sedan (bought in may 2009) is a very nice car to drive. Very quiet on highways and I drive between USJ to Singapore very often. Cruising along at 130-140 is a breeze. Very stable at cornering + good grippy Dunlop SP37 tyres.

3 problems discovered with the car ;
1) Juddering brakes - solved it with a little skimming
2) Slightly excessive steering rack free play. Doesn't affect the handling but do get the loose steering rack sound (like loose bolt joint sound) when driving over certain uneven roads. Yet to rectify the problem as Suzuki mentioned have to replace the steering rack and has to order the part.
3) Water stain marks on all the windscreens

i am now considering sportage manufactured 2007 but selling at 90700 (about 20k discount) with 5 years warranty and 100k free maintenance. tire is made in 2007 and since battery is out, cannot start engine to test drive. it has been in showroom for several months and not left at yard. i check blog n people recommend to immediately change oil, filters (oil & air). any other things i should note? but this is not same to compare with sx4!

just got my sx4.bought it at JL99 selayang.got 14k discount. Love it ! :smile_big:later drove it from kl to melaka.somehow i feel this car tends to swerve a bit when it runs at 130kmph and above? is it normal?or it is caused by its small rims?i feel takut2 nak drive it fast...not confident.my old waja only swerve when it runs @ 150kmph and above...nape eh?or it's just me?any advise.tq
