I have no idea too and quite forget what I observe interior during my test drive last time. Just saw my friend shares his picture in the facebook after he owns SX4 sedan. I just notice that is the Audio player button that stated CD/AUX. I found some picture in internet also, a lot of audio player also contain CD/AUX, I believe this should be new model or facelift. But sometime you can find the port in some hidden place, like my father's Honda Accord has USB and AUX, but we can't really find the port in the obvious place and one day we found it in some hidden place.

Just check your audio player whether the button state only CD or CD/AUX.

Guys, how is the input of this? Anyone found CD/AUX button in your radio?

i just came back from suzuki showroom in kuching.
price is RM95,555.40 (sarawak price)
less RM15,900 (8,900 discount from suzuki and 7,000 OT)
less RM17,000 (trade-in kenari 2004 special edition) i think sa value my kenari is a bit low because i survey my kenari should be around 20k but with the discount RM15,900, it doesnt matter and quite attractive unless i insist to get kenari value higher.
so, loan is RM62,600. with 2.8% (rhb islamic), 5 years loan is RM1,190 per month

Question now, is it worth to buy SX4 considering this is 2008 model? what happen to CBU japan model expose too long at yard? any feedback from owner who has been using since early 2009? any other goodies i can get from sa since i think they really want to clear off this 2008 stock

Thanks

hi all,

i'm new to this forum. luckily i found this forum because i've been looking for sx4 sedan owner since i bought it last year. at that time, it was very hard to find the same car on the road. but nowadays i am happy to see a lot of sx4 running on the road. i fall in love the moment i saw the car. however, mine is year 2007 and full spec. i am very happy with condition of my car and i got it at 73k only. i got loan for 2.45% wih public bank for 9 years. i am more than happy to pay 800 per month for such a good handling and quality car.

as for the maintenance, i found that it is affordable as it need to be sent for service after 10k mileage. overall, i am very happy with the car performance and the fuel consumption is very cheap compare to my previous car. since it is 2007 model, the interior looks a little bit different but it comes with leather seat. it also do not have arm rest. however, i manage to find one for rm135 and will be getting it tomorrow. can't wait to install it in my car.

anyway, i am really happy to find this forum especially the sx4 sedan owner....smile.gif

by the way stryfox, i have 1 question to ask about thr trade -in u've mentioned above. my brother own a kenari and planning to get sx4 too. the question is, have u finished paying for the car or still having loan with the bank yet they still accept trade-in?

looking forward for your answer. thanx.

Now I guess I have to change my tinting as well.
Also, not sure where the rattling is from. Sometimes it's the air cond due to the tuning.

BTW, anyone know if SX4 can use RON 95? Coz Swift and Grand Vitara can't.

hi,

my sx4 sedan works very well with ron95. for me, the fuel consumption is very cheap as compared to my previous car.

Have 1 small spoiler (like the premier model) believed bought in brothers installed by my SA, looks much better than without.
Will be changing to a bigger spoiler as madam couldn't see & judge the rear edge while reversing.
Next is to change the rims to 17" BMW E90 type, looks damn chun on the US version.

17 inch Rim? will it be too heavy for 1600cc car? I'm planning to change rim as well, but still thinking of 16 or 17 inch...

Might be a bit heavier but the new models come with 17" rims.
It should come with 205/55/17 or 215/50/17

The current 195/65/15 gives my odometer 6% over reading against the PLUS highway mileage markers.
By calculation, the Xover 205/60/16 should give an error of 3%.

But the 16" doesn't give u the 'Keng" look. smile_tongue.gif

Saw a few SX4 sedan in Batam with 17" rims but sadly I didn't get to see the size of the tyres upclose.

Torsion beam suspension tends to feel like 'swaying' on undulating road surfaces. This is an inherent characteristic of torsion beam, it's not caused by 15" tyres. After all, older models of Mercedes 280SE / E240 also use the same sized tyres and never had this problem at all. Try to install rear anti-roll bars and see if it helps.

btw, 2010 SX4 Sedan comes with 205/50/17 tyres
