mosh,
can you share the cost of maintenance of your savvy? i kind of like the savvy too but scare of high maintenance and lack of workshop can repair it.

regular service wise kindda same $$ amount of any proton model as the car is new. got 2 years warranty from proton ( now 5 year EWP ) anything happen, just send to proton edar SC, taichi back to them.. dun try to pandai2 repair it urself. as the car is under warranty.. all for free and no charges occurs. that what i do when my car started jerking. ignition coil & speed sensor prob.. but these are for AMT.. manual, i've read less issue regarding it..
new batch of savvy are kindda ok, less jerking problem as the 1st batch..
as savvy itself are using renault engine & transmission.. i guess you can do the math of comparing it with local / japs model..
but things are not always same as you know.. savvy parts are kindda can be found anywhere nowadays. even my friend that own an out of warranty savvy purchase its timing belt ( not proton brand ) 50% less cost than average proton part price..
if you maintain ur car carefully, follow the service interval schedule, drive by law.. shud be ok.. high maintenance cost only occurs if you broke something, or people broke it for you.. there is loads of renault / citroen specialist around town. shud be ok as i seldom see savvy broke down..

I can only speak on the BLM.
Mine is auto clocking only 14k km so far.
From the outside,
u can tell its an entry car by looking at the exterior's simple design.
1st batch like mine does not come with indicator at the fender.
M-line will get 14 inch rim,body-coloured side mirror.
Interior.
Its all plastic and grey here.
Can be very boring at times.
The seats are comfortable both front and back but i personally dont like the fabric used to make the seat.
It can collect dust very easy.
Power window are only at the front for M-line.Rear uses paut window.
U hav air conditioning and a stereo.
Stereo is a plus point. It sounds great for an OE unit.
Instrument panel is simple and lit up in orange at nignt.
Built quality is good.No rattling so far despite hard driving.
Engine and drive impression.
Its powered by a 1.3l IAFM Campro.
Power is high but bcoz mine is auto so cannot fully harness the power lah.
With 4 adults on board, it a bit sluggish but when it gets moving there is no problem.
Acceleration is great for a cheap 1.3 small sedan.
Reaching 130kmh is easily done and mine can top only 150kmh.
Car is stable and planted at this speed.
Handling is on the safe side.Loads of understeer will remind u to lift of the gas.
Braking power is adequate to stop the car at any speed.
NVH is ok lah.Only sound u can hear is wind sound at 80kmh and above and tyre pounding sound.
Maintenance,
An engine oil change will cost less than RM100.Using Petronas 20w-50.
Other wear n tear i cannot comment yet bcoz of the mileage.
No worries here as its a simple engine.
FC,
100% city driving will return 11km/l.Remember, mine is auto.
Thats months ago and i havent calculate any new data.
What has gone wrong?
2nd day of ownership, the front absorber is kaput.
I dont mind as its still under warranty.
Recently the lower radiator hose leaks and the driver seats is loose.
Still under warranty so i dont mind.
Overall i'm satisfied with this car.But since the launch of the Saga SE, i'm gatal2 want to install leather seat.
