Hi,
please help me which 1 to choose the car. savvy or viva or myvi for my 2nd car. just go to work around 40km a day. dalam kepala saya, macam lebih suka savvy. tapi orang kata savvy ada problem gear box dan lain-lain yang kecil2. myvi pun kataya ada masalah juga maknanya tak perfect jugalah walaupun jualannya tinggi. viva terasa kecil dan mungkin mahal rasanya jka dibanding dengan saiznya. savvy katanya casisnya lebih baik dari myvi dan pengendaliannya juga lebih bagus. tapi worry jga kalau masalah paling besar masih berlaku seperti gear box problem. plese bagi pandangan... smile_question.gif smile_question.gif

within that price braket not much choices if u want a decently new car as all are crappy. though no car is perfect, why not consider 2nd hand Saga BLM with boot space and guess circa of RM30-32k can get a 2008 car. Myvi too expensive for such car at such price.

actually if just short distance and town driving cum 2/3rd car, can get a 2nd hand viva... good in FC and easy to park.. and save $$ do other stuff than spend to buy a My-V

U wont belive if i tell u savvy is a very reliable car right?
I believe when people say it got problem is bcoz some isolated prob on the AMT model.
If u get the manual or auto, its bulletproof provided u done all the maintenance.

I took my BLM from the sc the other day.
The mech there said the savvy is very reliable despite having a Renault engine like what the Waja 1.8 does.
I'm talking about the engine and gearbox.
On the common problem like power window or other thing i dunno.

Myvi will win on looks and thats it.
It hav problem like power windows, bad fc even for a manual.
Try read in the p2 forum and u will know better.
If all are fine then the Myvi wins in all aspect except driving pleasure.
I said this bcoz the savvy hav a better chassis and better power.
The handling is always going to be better than a Myvi.

Viva is not worth considering as a choice.
No comfort, no fun, lots of sound here and ther despite only 1k km on the odo.
Not forgetting the high price for something that is nothing.

So,
the choice is up to u.
I advice that u set your needs on the car 1st then find the car that suit your needs.
I oso would consider BLM like what bro Popcorn said.
Its reliable and cheap to maintain.

2 perodua vs 1 proton..

justify urself with the current budget... how much u can pay every month...

if ur looking for a 2nd hand new model car.. eg, saga, viva, myvi or savvy.. make sure that it still under warranty.. check the service history. normally new 2nd hand car comes out with those..

a friend just got himself a 2nd hand new vios dugong.. but the service booklet is gone.. no service history, the car can run like normal but its kindda grey on what is the prev history of the car.. the 2nd car dealer can only said that the car is in good condition, bla bla bla.. but only verbally. donno if this is a grey import, local made or else... ?

btw, im driving savvy AMT as 2nd car..

other than twice change the speed sensor and 1 ingnition coil ( all under warranty ). the car never fails me.. never got power window problem as mine is "paut" window.. handling wise & speed is superb....! only interior look kindda plastic..
FC are OMG save!
