For her car is still a mode of transport bringing you from point A to
point B. For me, a car is my buddy and I will communicate with "him" with
my driving and also listen to "him" attentively with his responses on the
road. That is the reason why I fell in love with cars like Ford Focus and
Mazda 3.

Nope, I am not a racer on opened road but occasionally I will be going to
go-kart track for a spin. I am more of enjoying the pleasure of driving a
car that I like, especially on trunk roads.

So, I may not get the car that I like now but I will be back!!! Tongue

finally got my car and using it for a week. mileage was 1500km when
collected the car from sime darby.

got it at 90k with 3.25% interest which i think is gd deal for used car.

fuel consumption is at 12l/100km which is slighty high but maybe due to
jam n stop n go. hope will improve overtime.

handling wise has been sweet. not much issues yet.

Congrats on your new ride!

3.25% is a good deal. You must have locked down your deal with your bank
for sometimes, as Public Bank alone has increased their interest rates
twice. Once on 01 July and the other on 21 July. Not sure this will be
the last one for this time around.

shy78,

On maintainance wise, I beg to differ, unless you are comparing to non-
genuine Toyota parts. I owned Harrier, the parts price from Toyota
(offcourse genuine parts) more expensive than Ford. But if you get non-
genuine parts, yes, it is cheaper... BUT would you risk your life by
using non-genuine parts????????

Some examples: Brake pads = RM300 (front + rear) for non-genuine, but at
Toyota RM350 for front only & RM400 for rear!. I compare them, definately
I can easily spot the differences. Oil filter RM10 at shop, RM30 at
Toyota! and many more..

Ford Focus original wiper blade at RM185 per pair (including courier charge). Call 012-4525220 if interested.
