WTF...where is the police ? ? The crime rate now is bad and what are our policemen doing ? ? ? PDRM suckssssssssssssss

in my opinion even if we have a police at the ratio of 1:1 on the population incident like this will still happen... we cannot aspect police to at the right palace at the right time ... even they are maybe only abt 10% or maybe less.....

dont just becos of one incident we close our eye on the good thing they have done............ and just becos the police is not where we wanted them to be .... we put a blanket conclusion they are no good.....

bad people swing into action when they feel it is safe to do so........ safe mean no police around.....

just for discussion sake..........

Today, another Civic lost belong to my boss, WQK681. Silver 1.8. I know the chance of getting it is slim but if you on a lookout and saw the number plate sandblasted to the windscreen, give PDRM a shout. Thank you.

Some Professional car thieves have working experience at security firms. That's why so highly skilled. If they can't steal it, they tow it away.

Car stolen in wee morning, 5 am inside house compound. No sound whatsoever, no alarm buzz or else. I guess they have the masterkey + immo duplicate. They don't need to break in the car, they just drove it away. Police said last week a Stream got the same fate. "H" is really hot car, but lousy standard alarm. Make me rethink about the rm3k Cobra Connex.

It is a scary thought to think of owing a Civic.

Image your wife and children who were in the car try to reverse your Civic from car porch & end up wif X2 "celaka" wif parang point at her neck!

Those who drive Camry (Yr'09) & Gen8 Accord are also not spared. There is why people choose not so popular car like Peugort, Citreon or Ford for safety reason.

As on insurance, the insurer will pay only 80% on the current market price LESS rd tax, insurance policy, reg. fee etc. So, if you bought yours at RM117K and current secondhand market is selling at RM100K, you can expect insurance to cover up to RM80K. You stand to loose at least RM37K (31% lost). But, that does not mean anything if you have been getting fat bonus (talking about x6 month bonus each year) every year.

About safety, it is about time you consider moving into safer neighbourhood like where I live i.e. USJ Subang. At least currently I live in a gated community with zero crime rate.... smile_approve.gif smile_approve.gif smile_approve.gif

The above is a wrong perception on what insurance is all about....... Insurance settlement dont work on percentage but RATHER ON MARKET VALUE AT TIME OF HAPPENING/INCIDENT/LOSS.

However, yes insurance dont cover your r/tax, regn fee , loan interest or any other misc charges.

A lot of people like to hear say but dont read the fine print of the insurance policy where almost every info needed is there for us to under stand on what is covered and what is not. Pls note that no insurance policy is giving a 100% coverage to the claimant but settlement will be fair and in accordance to the term & condition of the policy.

Again pls refer to the right people for the right answer rather than making assumption the we were unfairly treated by the insurance company when it come to settlement. Also change our mindset that insurance coverage is only for getting of roadtax . It is more than that. Find out more from your agent/insurance company so that we are clear and be certain that we have adequate coverage in the event of a mishap.
