this tuning..is one for all or customize for each vehicle ?

thanks for asking such a question. let me put this as a reply. think about a computer. hardware the same but can run with different software. in this vector-tuning box, hardware is the same but software in it is specific for each model.
hope that explain everything. btw, what model u having?

haha...what a slimeball, immediately question the competence of the person running the Dyno....I'm sure Speedworks will have a few words to say to you! If the results of the dyno only show 10% increase in power, you can blame the person operating it for getting the wrong result, not the tuning box!!

unfortunately not. one day i will put my own marea JTD for dyno.
however, u can get the predicted 'dyno' chart from the website.
www.vector-tuning.com click on the UK flag and check out the
Configurator. it does show how the hp/torque curve like with the tuning
box.
btw, can good suggestion to do dyno. i heard a lot of about being dyno
wrongly. it is just a machine. if the person who run it do the wrong
setup, the result will be wrong as well.
1,463,700 Scoville heat units.....can u feel the burn?

i think u got me wrong. r u sure all dyno shops can run the machine properly? even many tyre shops cant even do balancing properly using the machine. i am just trying to say that don't take all dyno reading as 100% correct. those figures are relative and very unlikely will be the true value. i am not saying who everrunning the dyno is wrong buy the machine itself will give variation.
what happen if they run the dyno with the tuning box and get 30% power? do i want to claim that as fact? i don't think i could but probably stick to 20-25% improvement which the manufacturer claim to be.
so hope u get my point and not thinking i m just another 'slimeball'
to pls u, here is one of the dyno chart done on a SUV.
it is about 23-24% gain from the std.

a dyno is NOT the same as tyre balancing machine....u r comparing apples and monkeys. Point I am making is don't knock the dyno results as though it's being run by the same semi-skilled people as tyre shops, it's NOT the same thing.

i can't agree with you that whoever run the dyno is well trained and get the proper results. r u so sure all of them are 'certified n tested' to handle the dyno? n from day one, i never said not to 'believe' the dyno charts, all i am saying is there could be errors and don't take is 100%. u don't think it is a fair comment?
anyway, i guess just different views...

don't care whether you agree with me or not, I have a dyno machine in my workshop and I can assure you that it's 100% accurate, what you are talking about is nonsense and probably you are saying this because if someone buys your tuning box and my dyno will show he is only getting 10% or less increase in power, you have planted the seed of doubt in his head that there is something wrong with my machine or the technician who is using it don't know what he is doing.
On the other hand if it is showing a 50% increase in power then I will start selling these tuning boxes also..haha!

dont make me laugh, there is nothing 100% accurate. it is only call close to 100% repeatable. meaning, it could give u the same reading very closely but does not means actual performance value. having said that, you dyno could be well calibrated to give close to actual value. my point is not all dynos at other shops will give you the same value. where is your shop? maybe i want to find out. what type of dyno u having? dynamo type? 4 wheels?
if the tuning box can give 50% improvement, those tuners doesn't hav to scratch their head how to pump up a diesel engine using intercooler, turbo, etc..
