4k is too expensive for half cut. I got mine for RM400 but it is not halfcut, just engine, gearbox plus wiring and ECU. For that price, just go for vitara half cut, it is about 3k.

Your problem with the brake lies in the adjustment of the rear drum shoes. It had been worn out and need to travel a lot to reach the drum. Need to readjust or change new shoe and readjust.
As for the transfer, need to open up and see or the mounting is bad.
yerp2..i know 4k is expensive..huhu.. there is one half cut shop beside shell station (rawang) selling only engine, gearbox..but above 1k ..huhu.. u got only for rm400...aiya..so cheap.. where did u buy all the stuffs?

It is very hard to sell cos no demand. You can negociate for 1k for the engine, gearbox and wiring. You can try this shop also, not sure of the price but they do sometimes import the engine. I had bought engine kosong 660 for RM500. New Sinkazu Auto in Batu Caves, infront of Greenwood park. 03 61869804.

Yosha, while u r at it, could u do me a favour n ask how much a pair of 660 axles n sj410 transfer case r n post it here. Thanks. I kinda just need the ring n pinion. I'm getting myself a set of west coast suspension plus longer shackles which should allow me to fit up to 31" tyres, but to recover pick up, I may need to change the ring n pinion.
tsleong, I don't suppose u know if I can get my hands on just the 660 ring n pinion without the whole axle tubes?
Today my Jimny was sent for brake skimming n found the front pads partially dissintigrated. Had them replaced n now the brake problem is solved. Now only the transfer case gear lever to be fixed, probably wouldn't bother to fix it if I can get a cheap sj410 transfer case.

Normally they do not sell the third member only. You have to get the whole thing. Sinkazu is the only place I know of with 660 parts. You can give the tubes to me if you want to dispose of it after you had the ring and pinion.

actually i jatuh gaung last month...brake problem..hit the brake and swerve..turn turtle then ..
thank god nothing happen to me..not even scratch..
but the roof quite bad la..i had to jack up the roof to return home after that....
now plannning to replace the whole cabin..
does 413 cabin fit as well?
mounting point the same ka?

sierra is the same one with 413...
now i'm not sure whether it will fit my SJ410 chasis..
yes it can through some modification but i'm looking a straight fit one..
4k is a bit on the high side but i still can afford that...
another thing is,
the wiring is totally a mess if i fit them into my SJ410..
poor my sj410..stood still under the garage for about a month now i guess..

u got a point there. but since sj410 is older than jimny, cabin may b hard to find. btw, any of u knows how much for a pair of original taillamp assembly + lense in half cut shop? My tail lamp colour faded liao. iwae, I remembered was is u who posted a few DIY job with pics. I appreciate if u can may be e-mail me(psychojeep@gmail.com) or post in ORS on how to remove the transfer case. Thanks.
Since sj410 cabin is hard to find n probably cost about the same, If cabin to chasis mating doesn't involve much modification, why don't u replace with a Sierra model which is more comfortable n fully covered but maintain ur current dashboard to save u the headache of different wiring? Just a thought.
