I was looking through some websites about SUVs and 4x4s which includes, of course watching some You Tube clips until it brought me to this particular vehicle called Land Rover Defender. I was thinking, this is the car you would like to have if you want simplicity, practicality and versatility (if you don't mind sacrificing comfort). Then i saw this article in Paul Tan about Jaguar Land Rover opening it's plant in Pune India.
Really would like to know,
Will this have any effect on the price of Land/Range Rovers?
Is our Landys currently imported from UK ?
Why is it the twin cab Land Rover (with all it's simplicity) is priced higher than the twin cabs such as Ford Ranger, Hilux, Navarra and Dmax?
Why can't Sime Darby AutoConexxion try to get a similar tax exemption for their twin cab Land Rover as for other brands mentioned. I'm sure value per value, non of the twin cabs match a Land Rover especially going offroad and such a simple engine too .
Is it true that Land Rover (Defender) is unreliable and difficult to maintain?
