Cleaning Egr Intake Manifold

Those who have not cleaned their EGR Intake Manifold before should try this out. Just need to loosen 1 screw and remove the hose to start digging the carbon deposit inside. It will helps better air flow circulation of the EGR system.

These photos are from Mckharie DIY.

1. Simple and fast to remove.


2. Make a simple digging pipe to start korek, korek, korek


3. Could worth several hundred gm of carbon here, result of 6 years of saving. hahahah

Dunno why but when I look at this it feels like a stop smoking ad. Tak Nak! ... I felt a bit scared looking...

I would assume this beeing done during the Main Service I just had done by our panel workshop, right ?
If not, another item on my never ending list..... unsure.gif

I dun think teng did this on your vehicle. very seldom sc will practise this unless you request them to do. only bro teerex has this special tool. hahahaa.....korek-korek !!

If you joining Bro Razopower and Bro Teerex to Ipoh next Sat to install your absorbers and Bendix 4WD brake pad, can do it in Ipoh together with swapping Vacuum Modulator and blowing exhaust catalyst.

Today Bro Husni complete the intake manifold cleaning. he soak 1 day inside chemical,the stubborn carbon he torch until become cleaner than new...pheww..can't wait to see the pictures.

Not worry anything burnt inside the manifold?

Will be posting the photos taken during DIY in PG Gathering.

To share what i have done this weekday reuse inlet gasket & renew oil cooler paper gasket....save badget.Test run engine feel more lighter & responsive very very less black smoke.
