Agreed.
Dueler D689 got blisters after some 30000kms, supposedly can last 80000kms.
Well, maybe just one of those isolated cases , 1 in 10000 or so, but that 1 happened to me.

Bridgestone treadwear is good, UTQG figures are high >500,
unfortunately blisters on sidewall. tread looked like could last another year or so, at least.

Depends on what tyres. Some of their UHP tyres have treadwear of 140 only.....

Guys, after 'shopping' around for size 235/55/17 99W, end up with Roadstone/Nexen N7000 directional. I know it is not a performance tyres and it has a M+S rating. So, not going to expect a lot. Initial feeling, soft sidewall even with 36psi. it is quiet as for most new tyres. i think the dry grip will not be great. Treadwear 360 Traction AA Temp A.

But it is very round and well balance. only needs < 30gm

i guess value for money smile_thumbup.gif however, i still don't understand why there is '2' brand for pratically same tyres.

A lot of sipes in the pattern. Worry for the wet handling if the sipes are shallow.
Maybe different name for different market. Some Marshall tyres have Kumho pattern and model number also, seems made by them like Nexen for Roadstone..

hi bro,

thks for the tips. after running for about 200km on dry road, i can say it is just a quite and above average tires. steering response ok but not sharp and taking corners limit reduced compare to my Dunlop Sport Maxx TT.

sidewall is softer and high speed need more steering attention. hope wet condition is not bad. smile_sleepy.gif

haha...i know. that is why i can't expect much. today, manage to try out some wet surface. not raining just wet. it gives way much faster and my traction control bling bling bling...and braking for me.

guess, have to lower my limits a lot liaw...in a way is good loh. slower but safer. even dry road when doing hard accerelation under connering also swaying understeer.

now..got to be slow slow...
