I know quite a few that have chipped their cars, APR and Revo as well. Usually for Stage 1 no other mods required but for different maps especially stage 2 you need to change the downpipe, intake or exhaust to get the best gains in power.

Stage 1 remap is one of the best ROI or best bang for buck per hp increased. Saw a number of GTI's being remapped to APR stage 1 the other time when I was at the APR's fella's home smile.gif

This is a Mk6 on APR Stage 1. Stock intake and exhaust. Done at Millenium Auto in Sunway a.k.a 'Heartbreaker Dyno'. Figures are WHP.

hi cyanyde,

thanks for sharing, but i have to say the charts is very 'unreal'. the torque is peaky and not look like a 2.0 GTI where should be flat from 2000-5000rpm. if this is really an APR 1, then there will be a dip of power in the mid range which can't be right???

pls compare to this one also done is Millenium Auto. it is the actual print out from his 4wheel dyno machine. yours looks like a 'screen shot'?
