I am indeed looking for some advise to mod the van but it seems no sifus have come forward with suggestions. Hahaha....

anyway... just a Q? this is a VAN leh.... u wanna tapau ferrari in highway
1KD-FTV 's turbo this turbo is like a VGT turbo in the hyundai diesel?
No lah. I don't want to tapau ferrari. Yes, the 1KD-FTV is with VGT turbo, same Hyundai Diesel but Starex is 2.5 with VGT and output is much higher than the 1KD-FTV 3.0 output. That is why I don't understand why Toyota is unable to match Hyundai on performance. I don't think hyundai reliability is poorer than Toyota.

I am from Johor. Can't possible drive the van(commercial type) to hatyai. If can, I will surely be there to mod it like there is no tomorrow.

ya those VGT turbo r much better... I only try once in a Hyundai Tucson 2.0 VGT... dirve like Petrol car but w/a Diesel torque!!
as for the I/C u can try to check out the lelong & the Mudah web side.... may be can get a cheaper PnP for the Van!

Hi,
you may install a Vector Tuning Box which I did to my D4D Hilux and you can feel the immediate improve in engine responsiveness.
