Hi all,
I got a summon letter in mail for speeding the other day.
The summon letter detailed my speeding offense.
But on the other side of the page also asked me to provide the driver detail in accordance to some road transport act.
I've paid the summon online.
But wondering do i still have to respond to provide the driver detail???
Has anyone encountered this?
Thanks all.

if you have paid, then you are deemed accountable loh, since the car is tagged to your name, and it was paid without details provided. if you were not the driver and someone else driving, you shd fill up the back page and mail back to them, then a new summon will be issued to the details provided by you.

oh ok. so, since i'm the one driving, then i don't have to fill up the back page and mail back to them la right?

by default, it is always assumed the owner is the one committing the offence.

How about a fine that appeared one fine day on MyEG.com dated 2 yr old, without any official letter of saman?
4 yrs already, don't care them since never received official saman stating my offense if any.
So far can still renew license.
May be one day go ps asked them for photo evidence of my crime if any.
