Next thing is to check the fuelling system... fuel pump, filter and valve
and make sure the throttle body is cleaned as well..

Sorry to say this, but I`m not surprised on your problems inspite of spending so much already. If you are a Fiat enthusiast, get the Bravo. A lot less problems, especially the gearbox, since it`s manual.

Anyway, my car was bought by Fiat enthusiast, owners of Sykt Glory Auto (dealer of Italian car parts in Jln Ipoh). They knew the condition of the car and was willing to pay the price I asked for knowing they will not encounter any mishaps.
So if you chose your car well(2nd hand), it should last you longer than expected. I have friends who drive 2nd hand Toyotas who are cursing as the car visits the workshop more often than they go shopping for groceries.
And always make sure you have a good mechanic too..a poorly skilled one would probably mess up your car further.
Please visit Goodwork Auto in Old Klang Road tel: 03-77811143 and sort out your problems.

Your car would only be problematic when you do not send to the right people to maintain the ride.
I have owned a Bravo for the best part of 8 years. The only major thing that I have done was a top overhaul. Other than that I do regular maintenance service every 5k km using synthetic lube. I renew transmission oil every 30k km. I renew my coolant, power steering fluid and brake fluid once a year.
What's so hard about maintaining a Fiat?
Good things ain't cheap, cheap things ain't good!
